New Ridan Composter

Our Forest School children got a big suprise last week when they saw our latest piece of equiement. They could not guess what it was. One even thought it was a machine for making giant ice creams!

In reality it's a composting machine. From now on, all our Nursery food waste will be transported up to our Forest School on a daily basis, and then emptied into our new composter. This will both provide us with an endless supply of organic compost to support our expanding organic food production facility and provide us with a much more environmentally friendly way of disposing of our food waste.
